Many of you might have known about this and some of you might not. I will be holding a few contests giving users the oppertunity to get a ChatMaster account for a day! This contest will be held periodically and it's very easy to participate. I will be posting a question o­n the Chat Forum and all you have to do is be the first to guess the answer! The o­nly catch is, you HAVE to be a member of the forums to have a chance. So if you're o­nly a Guest and you guess the right answer, then it won't count, sorry.


How do you know if you win?


The forum topic will be closed after someone has guessed it right. From there, you will be contact via E-mail, the o­ne that you provided when signing up for the member name o­n the forum, telling you that you guessed it right. You will be given a specific time range when your account will be accessible, along with a log-in address. Please DO NOT E-mail the Administrators. If you do this then your answers will be overlooked.

As you can all tell there has been a lot of changes over the past few weeks in 8ballers. So I'm going to take a minute to go over them with you.

The o­nly Chat Masters we have now are Unpredictable and Aime. We released the rest due to the chat numbers. Please do not ask to get an account because you will be denied and removed from concideration. If and when we need someone, you all will be aware. Thanks.

Over the next few days there will be some icons removed. Most of these will be the o­nes that no o­ne is using, so there shouldn't be any problems. If there is an icon deleted that you use, and you would like it back o­n the chat, please contact an Administrator and it'll be put o­n when we have time. As you can also tell, there was some new icons that have been added thanks to Court and Rain. If you have an icon that is properly cropped, you may speak to an Administrator to get those put o­n too.

Just a reminder, there has been a few chatters that have been caught advertising. This is NOT allowed in 8ballers, and really any chat. You will be banned if you are caught doing so. If you see someone spreading a link to another chat, please notify a member of our Staff for it to be handled in the correct manner.

Also, to add to the subject of me being here.  I will no longer be attending 8ballers or Co-running it as of Friday, July 27th, 2007. The reason is undisclosed. Hope you all enjoy chatting, and that you all for accepting me for the short time I was there. Hopefully you all enjoyed yourselves as much as I did.

As you can see as of late 8ballers has been really booming in numbers. We have decided to bring our old registration system back. What this means is a few things.

For Guests (Non-Registered Members): You can still login the normal way, how-ever you will have a ~ located in the front of your nickname at all times in the chat. This is to show people that you are infact a guest and not a registered member.

For Registered Members Of This Site: You will be able to login automatically and also update and save your profile online. It means that you can login to the chat with ease and allready have your profile filled out for you (as per your settings) instead of typing them out manually yourself each time you enter the chat. You will also be able to take use of the Buddy List feature which saves some of your friends names in a list for you to easily access when the chat gets busy.

Please take the time to register, Registration is completely free and registration links are located all over this site. If you have trouble finding one look up in the top right hand corner under the 8ballers.com logo.

Well been a while since posts.

8ballers has been thinking about starting its Internet E-Gang back up. Back in the old days 8ballers was not a chat site. Infact we were an internet group that lived in places such as chatpit & scopie.

We had quiet a large number base and the only requirement of the group was that you wore your (8-ballers) (8-b) [8-b] Tag on the end of your nickname no matter which chat you entered.

We also stuck together as a group, helping each other out and supporting each other in online fights and battles. 8ballers also had enemy groups most of which were sucked under or taken over by 8ballers as we grew stronger.

There is also a poll on the left hand side of the page. Please take a few moments to vote as if we get a strong enough responce we will re-open the group once more.

We have just released our brand new forums. As an active part of the website we hope that everyone will get in and use the forums & please respect any rules we put in place and do not spam these forums.

We will be looking for new Moderator's for our website, so keep well behaved on the forums and you could be the next forum moderator.

Our first games compitition is now complete. We have our first official winner, Congratulations to Brock who has won himself a free .com/.net domain for the period of 12months. Unfortionatly he did not make the 2000point barrier so he does not earn himself a free hosting account.

Our next compitition starts in 2 days time. This will be based around 1-2 games, Highest scorer wins a prize. The comp will go for 4 days. Our forum should be open shortly and we will be having a poll to see which games you think are the best. The best ranked game's will be used in the compitition.

We have had a good response for our games competition currently our top 3 players: Brock, Spammy & Hector are running close with less than 100 points between each player. It could be anyone's competition.

I have decided that the 3500 Point barrier has been set too high. I therefore have decided that the winner will be ranked #1 and must have 2000+ points.

I have also decided to change the prizes. If the winner reaches over 2000+ points they will earn themselves not just the free .com/.net but also 12 months free hosting on the "starter" package from VirtualHost. This hosting package consists of 200MB Disk Space and 5GB of data transfer/month.
