The 8-Ballerz are a group for the better of the internet. Members of our group are sent around the WWW to different chatrooms recruiting members that may meet our standards. The 8-Ballers have had many accusations towards them which are entirely false. We are not a hacking group, nor are we for any malacious purpose. We are here to show other that it is ok to be yourself, and recruit those whom wish to serve the same purpose.

How do I Join?

Anyone's welcome to join. On the main page there is a member's login where new members may register. You must have a valid email address or we cannot send your password. Please remember this site is still being worked on, along with the member's area. More options will be available after we are completed with the site. Thank you for your patience. Rules

The 8-Ballers rarely use the word "Rules". This word emphasizes guidelines that you must obey or else. We are not here to run your life, or munipulate your state of mind in any choices you shall make now or in the future. We have 1 main rule. Which is the fact that you must always wear your 8-Ballers insignia while in a chatroom anywhere on the internet. This rule applies to all members past, present and future. Since the 8-Ballers are a Non-Profit Organization this is our only payment for our services. The ability to see members in chatrooms across the net and say they are part of our group. Also we would appreciate you to keep a mature statute while in these chatrooms to give the 8-Ballers a good name. This is not a rule, because that would be against our guidelines as a group.

History

The 8-Ballers were founded in 1998 by Robbie in a chatroom called Fashiontrip. The purpose of this groups arival to the internet was due to chatroom violence. Robbie was fed up with going to chatroom after chatroom and had to dodge and/or stop fights everywhere he went. This led him to believe that if he started a small group of users from each chat, he could possibly slow down the fighting/arguing, if not stop it.

As we continued to grow, we realized there is more we needed to do. People from all over the world came to us with their problems. We are very much here for anyone dealing with situations of rape, violence, drug abuse, alcoholism, suicide. Please, if you need help let one of us know. We are here to help you in anyway. You are not alone anymore.

In Early 2001 unfortionatly we lost our founder Robbie, due to work reasons. Franga took over from there and has been Leader ever since. 8ballers did close down from 2003-2004 But have now re-opened at the end of 2004 start of 2005 better and stronger than ever. Still under lead by Franga. Although we have lost and gained members due to various, understandable reasons, some of our oldest and most dedicated members still remain. Rain , Ellie , Mark , Stef , Kirst .

The 8-Ballers have been around for nearly 7 years. We are the strongest, and longest lasting group known to the WWW. We continue to grow everyday, and our admin continue to work on new and improved ways to help the members and the internet.
